Pasquale Rescigno
b. 1999, Milan. At the age of 3, due to a malign retinal tumor, he lost his right eye. His handicap led him to develop great interest and involvement in photografic language and social issues regarding this theme.
In his teenage years this interest evolved into a deeper visual research and strive for a personal expression.
Through his education followed by the photojournalist Valerio Bisburi, he focused his photographic narrative toward documentary photography with principle of emotional closeness to the subjects represented.
Later matured his photographic language by collaborating with various journalistic and artistic associations and collectives.
Working on long-term projects and reportage in theatrical, artistic, sports and social realities.
Graduated from the international school of photography Speos in the course in collaboration with magnum, he is now based in Paris.
